My project goal was to envision the role of Estonia’s patient portal, Digilugu, in 2045, and explore how it could empower the patient in the future. As a digital product design student, I collaborated with project owners, future elderly users, and AI. The process involved studying Estonia’s health system, leading workshops, and brainstorming with AI. The culmination was a design fiction narrative, provoking thoughts about future healthcare’s technological friendliness, privacy, autonomy, and mortality.
