A city girl’s yearning for nature and the desire to see the world that lies beneath the green blanket of vegetation were the impetus to create a wild fringed rug, in which the world’s most widespread but mysterious beings hide. They are the backbone of our ecosystem. Inspired by the green and brown tones of forests and the Estonian beetles with shiny wings, a tactile mixed-technique rug was created that invites viewers to discover the possibilities of textile design and the diversity of nature.
