Through these collages I depict the story of my three years living in a tiny Õismäe rental apartment. The collage explores whether it is possible to get to know a foreign residential area within three years. This is explored through a postcard and diary-like series. I am trying to find the character, the beauty and the strangeness of Õismäe through everyday routines and casual walks – not looking for anything in particular but rather letting everything come to me in its own natural way. In this piece I am introducing details and incidents from life itself, telling a story of my temporary home and period in life.
